Pius Elias didn’t keep his experience to himself. He began talking to other motorbike riders, urging them to become blood donors. He reminded them that as riders, they were at high risk of accidents and that having a reliable blood supply in hospitals could be the difference between life and death. "We always ride fast to serve our customers, but we rarely think about what happens if one of us gets into an accident," he explains. "By donating blood, we are not just helping strangers we are protecting each other."
