“A food safety hygiene and handling training program in Kahama municipal hosted by Okoa Jamii Organization (OJO) on September 26th at the planet hotel was a successfully event that facilitated the capacity building to 50 restaurant staffs and hotel staffs on proper and safe food handling techniques, personal hygiene and cleanliness. The main focus was to train participants on safe food handling so as to prevent foodborne illness and build a culture of food safety by integrating food safety into their daily operations.
